Job Description
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate barge audits to optimize operational efficiency while ensuring contractual compliance • Ensure vessels engaged on projects are fully ready and compliant from a marine operations standpoint • Educate and train onboard personnel on maritime regulations, safety procedures, and company standards to ensure high compliance levels • Inspect marine equipment and barge certificates to confirm adherence to industry standards and company policies • Attend and participate in client inspections onboard, establishing professional relationships with client representatives • Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and lessons learned, ensuring timely closure and prevention of recurrence • Verify all marine documentation and reporting is accurate, complete, and submitted within required timelines • Ensure company HSE and quality objectives are maintained onboard and across the fleet • Collaborate with departments to implement recommendations from audits and improve marine operations processes • Review operational risks and provide guidance for mitigation measures related to vessel readiness and compliance • Maintain clear and detailed records of all inspections, audits, and compliance activities • Provide regular reports on compliance performance, trends, and areas for improvement to the Compliance Manager • Support initiatives to improve operational efficiency, standardization, and best practices across all marine units

Qualifications
• Diploma in Nautical Science, or equivalent maritime qualification • Chief Officer COC (Certificate of Competency) • ADNOC & ARAMCO approvals preferableMinimum 08 years' experience in oil & gas industry, of which at least 02 years in Sailing time as Chief Officer
