Job Purpose

Provide machining services of oilfield connections. Manufacture and repair of fishing, rental and casing tools.

Responsibilities

• OPERATIONS
• Manufacture screens.
• Operate CNC machines to machine parts as per requirement and in accordance to established API specifications and procedures to meet specific requirements.
• Program machine to perform work as per drawings.
• Accountable to produce part within cycle time as per router including loading and unloading.
• Responsible and accountable to scan production hours as per procedure to ensure utilization of effective hours (Total time - Break hours).
• Accountable for inspecting quality of first part produced during the shift as per Standard Operating Procedure.
• Responsible for ensuring zero rejection, rework and initial analysis of any rejection.
• Responsible to intimate the supervisor on immediate basis regarding any product or process related issue.
• Responsible to use necessary material handling equipment for material movement.
• To ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies and to promote workplace safety as per company's Safety policy.
• Provides various other machining services when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and prevent safety hazards.
• Responsible for producing part as per standard cycle time, Quality standards, work order and maintain related documents
• Authorised to raise RADAR and Stop Work Authority.
• Authorised to fill start-up check sheet and Process Check Sheet,.
• Properly maintain company supplied tooling.
• Aid in developing of new procedures and improving existing procedures.
• Works assignments carried out to the highest quality level
• Work in shifts
• Must understand and comply with all safety rules, quality system and company policies of Weatherford.
• Responsible to have extensive ability and knowledge of operating CNC (Turn+Mill), VMC, HMC, Lathe machines through on job training.
• Responsible to work on respective machines as per production plan and supervisor instruction.
• Good Working Knowledge of manufacturing and repairing of job work.
• Responsible to understand and use necessary measuring instruments like micrometer, vernier, height gauge, bore gauge, thread profile cast, etc.
• Should be able to work closely with fellow employees
• Responsible to carry out any other task as advised by the supervisor or top management from time to time

Skills

• Use and read basic measuring tools
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Extensive ability and knowledge of operating hollow spindle lathe, rotary drill press and various hand tools such as grinders, debur, etc.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in CNC machining (milling/lathe/Turnmill).Experience in Heidenhain, Fanuc or Mazatrol Turn mill having preference as followed machines.
• Required any technical diploma / 2 years machinist Trade certificate in Machining field.
