Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

The primary role of the IS Unified Communications specialist is to apply IT knowledge and expertise to manage and support comple x Enterprise telephony solutions and Teams Meeting rooms solutions. The Specialist is a key resource, a definitive source of knowledge about Teams telephony and Teams Meeting Rooms services and solutions, who contributes their expertise to enhance the service offering.

This role is contributing to the IS Business in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Pr ovide implementation expertise and delivery of Teams telephony and Teams Meeting Rooms .
• Experience m igrating, deploying, and maintaining Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Unified Communication Platform (voice and video).
• M S Teams endpoint management including but not limited to IP phones and Teams Meeting rooms. Deploy and configure Teams Rooms and Common Area Phones .
• Demonstrate experience with p owershell commands & scripting.
• Configure complex voice requirements such as IVRs, Hunt Groups and Attendant Consoles in MS Teams Telephony platform.
• O ptimize voice communication within Microsoft Teams . Your expertise will be essential in implementing and maintaining voice and video conferencing related projects .
• Experience with Teams PSTN voice services , Calling Plans , Operator Connect , Teams Mobile , Direct Routing .
• Experience configuring Microsoft Teams Meeting Rooms, and other AV & Video Conferencing systems.
• Support site migrations from Cisco Call manager on-premises to Microsoft Teams PSTN Telephony .
• Ensure optimal functionality and user experience of voice services and video conferencing.
• Monitor and enhance Quality of Service (QoS) for voice calls , e nsuring network infrastructure is configured correctly and capable of providing the best possible end-user experience for voice and video communications .
• Collaborating with architects, project managers, and team leads, to deliver industry-leading voice/video technical solutions successfully and on time .
• Keeping knowledge up to date regarding new and emerging technology and industry practices, bringing learning to unified communications solutions.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT or similar degree.
• +6 years of experience with Teams Enterprise Telephony, Teams Meeting Rooms design and support skills.
• Having experience with Cisco Call manager would be a bonus.
• Transition legacy PBX systems to Teams .
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in managing enterprise deployments across different countries.
• Work effectively both as a contributing team member and independently.
• Advanced English Level.
