We are looking for an HVAC and Building System Engineer to join one of our projects onshore:

Project: LNG

Location: Mozambique Afungi Site

Start Date: provisionally Sept. 2026

Duration: 12 months

Mission

• Perform technical tasks assigned by the Project Specialist Lead, related with design, verification or study activities
• Interface with other Project Specialists and Designers
• Co-ordinate technical activities performed inside or outside the Company

Tasks

The Engineer executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements

Tasks include:
A-Development Technology know how and Commercial support
• Provide technical suppor t
B-Feasibility
• Provide technical support
C-Bidding phase/Commercial proposal development
• Review Tender technical documents
• Define list of activities and deliverables, coordinate activities in accordance with Project schedul e
• Identify technical queries, deviations and alternatives to be submitted
• Implement the bidding methodologies, the design criterias and guidelines
• Assist proposal team with request for quotation for commercial purpose
• Coordinate material quantities estimation
• Assist PSL in preparing engineering manhours and items and material costs estimations
• Discuss with client, attend to clarification meetings
D-Project Execution (Job progress and completion)
• Review Client technical documentation and requirements
• Maintain project technical files
• Control subcontracted HVAC and other building system engineering documents inside or outside the Company
• Set up and execute assigned engineering activities such as detail design, verification and studies relevant to any engineering topic associated to Discipline
• Prepare design specifications for HVAC System, and coordinate the design for other buildings systems such as electrical, telecommunications, fire and gas detection, fire fighting inside buildings
• Develop/control calculation notes for dimensioning of HVAC and other building systems
• Develop/control/coordinate functional layouts of HVAC and other building systems
• Prepare system performance and material specifications for HVAC building systems. Coordinate system performa nce and material specification for other building systems
• Prepare/control MTOs and BOQs
• Prepare S.O.W. and technical specification for HVAC and other building system construction subcontracts and assist the procurement dept. in the technical evaluations
• Prepare technical documentation for HVAC material requisition and provide technical evaluations to the procurement dept.
• Assure technical support in checking and approval of HVAC design and construction drawings
• Assure proper interface with proper technical department for checking and approval of building systems design and construction drawings
• Implement discipline follow-up activities and field engineering activities
• Assist during QC inspection activities
E-Construction and start up
• Assist in field engineering activities
• Support construction personnel as required
• Collect project feed backs for continuous improvement implementation
