This role is contributing to the EL Commercial Operations in China.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Collaborating with supply chain, manufacturing, and sales teams to support ABB's demand planning operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within defined timelines.
- Collecting, organizing, and maintaining daily demand planning data while executing data validation and cleaning processes to ensure accuracy and consistency for reliable analysis.
- Utilizing understanding of ABB's solutions and data-driven insights to identify patterns and trends, determining effective solutions that support accurate demand forecasting and customer requirements.
- Applying AI and advanced data processing tools to generate periodic analysis reports and visualization dashboards that provide decision support to the demand planning team.
- Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative efforts to explore and implement new data analysis tools and methodologies.
- Seeking feedback and guidance from managers and team members to continuously improve performance, skills, and contribute to process optimization.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
- You are highly skilled in and enjoy working with data processing tools such as Excel, Power BI, Python, and AI-related data analytics methodologies within the supply chain and manufacturing sectors.
- You have demonstrated skills or foundational experience in data analysis, data validation, or demand planning processes.
- You are qualified in or highly adept with digital platforms such as Power BI, with a strong interest in exploring additional advanced analytical tools.
- You are passionate about continuous learning and innovation, and you are captivated by problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
- You hold a bachelor's degree or above in computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation, or related fields; alternatively, you can demonstrate a strong track record in data analysis or supply chain operations.
- You are at ease communicating fluently in both English and Mandarin Chinese, with strong written and oral communication skills.
- You are eligible to work as an intern in China
