Job Description

• Responsible to ensure that slings making is done as per plan and in accordance to the required specifications and quality requirement
• Responsible to oversee the day to day operations and ensure no delay to operations and any issues are fully reviewed and managed
• Ensure that necessary trainings of team members are conducted to maximize their potential
• After completion of sling making he shall be responsible for making the waybills and arranging for transporting them to the barge or vessel
• Arrange for proper storage of all slings
• Responsible to receive the slings after completion of work offshore and perform the condition check of the wire rope and maintain records of same
• Responsible to Inspect slings regularly and to Clean slings after and before use and arrange for proper storage

Ensure all works are performed to the highest standards of HSE and as per approved HSE procedures

Qualifications

Secondary School Certificate with a discipline-specific Technical qualification, or equivalent

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas Industry
