Job Description
1. Responsible for operation and maintenance of the stinger on board the barge.
2. Ensure that a complete and up-to-date inventory of available spare items/equipment is always maintained.
3. Check that all items and accessories required for the stinger are available onboard the barge and ensure that the stinger equipment is correctly set up.
4. Keep a well-documented log of all activities which are mobilized with Stinger Technicians.
5. Supervise the dismantling, demobilization & maintenance of the stinger equipment during the idle period.
6. Maintain a log of equipment condition before-and-after stinger activities to record and indicate specific equipment that requires maintenance works.
7. Take necessary action to establish a safe working environment.
8. In the event of an emergency where potential risk is involved, carry out the stinger operation in an appropriate manner ensuring safety of the crew.
9. Train and develop the crew in the operation, maintenance and repair of stinger equipment.
10. Compliance in accordance with Company codes and HSE standards.

Qualifications
• High school or equivalent.
• 8 years' experience as Stinger Technican.
• Good English language skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Proven supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of all offshore safety training requirements.
