職務内容および責任

本ポジションでは、担当エリアにおける ELSE(Electrification Service)内のプロジェクトマネジメントオフィス(PMO)活動を主導・支援する機会があります。日々の業務として、ABBおよびELSEの基準に整合したプロジェクトマネジメント方針、ガバナンス、作業指示書の定義・導入・適用を支援することで、サービスプロジェクトを一貫して遂行できるようプロジェクトマネージャーをサポートしていただきます。

また、ELSEサービスプロジェクトの実行戦略の策定および展開にも専門性を発揮していただき、安全な実行、顧客重視、財務規律、ならびにプロジェクトポートフォリオ全体における継続的改善を確実にしていただきます。

本ポジションの勤務形態は ハイブリッド です。

この役割は、日本のエレクトリフィケーション事業における ELSE(Electrification Service)に貢献するものです。
主なステークホルダーには、ELSEサービスプロジェクトマネージャー、顧客、サービスオペレーション、フィールドサービスチーム、営業、財務、プロジェクトコントロール、マネジメントチームが含まれます。

主な責任範囲

• 担当領域において、強い顧客志向、迅速さ、配慮をもって業務を遂行し、卓越したELSEサービス体験を提供するとともに、顧客満足度の継続的な向上を推進すること。
• 必要に応じてオンサイトを含め顧客と密接に連携し、顧客オペレーションの改善、設備資産のパフォーマンス向上、ならびに既設設備におけるサービス上の課題解消の機会を特定すること。
• プロジェクトガバナンス、パフォーマンス追跡、マネジメントおよびプロジェクトマネージャーとのレビューを含む、ポートフォリオレベルでのELSEプロジェクトマネジメント活動を統括すること。
• 個別または全体的なプロジェクトマネジメント課題に対するエスカレーション窓口として機能し、課題解決に主体的に関与するとともに、ELSE全体のプロジェクト実行能力の強化を図ること。

応募資格

• プロジェクト／ピープルマネジメント、およびデータセンター、半導体、再生可能エネルギー市場における高い専門性を有する方
• 高度なスキルおよび実務経験を示すことができる方
• データセンター、半導体、再生可能エネルギー分野において5年以上の実務経験を有する方
• (尚可)MV/LVスイッチギアまたは関連する電気機器を扱うPMOとしての業務経験
• プロジェクト／リソース／コスト管理ツールに精通している方
• 学士号を有する方
• 日本語(ネイティブレベル)および英語(ビジネスレベル)での円滑なコミュニケーションが可能な方
• 有効なPMP／PMI資格を保有している方

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and support Project Management Office (PMO) activities within Electrification Service (ELSE) across the assigned area. On a day-to-day basis, you will support project managers in consistently delivering service projects by defining, implementing, and applying project management methods, governance, and work instructions aligned with ABB and ELSE standards.

You will also contribute your expertise to the development and deployment of ELSE service project execution strategies, ensuring safe execution, customer focus, financial discipline, and continuous improvement across the overall project portfolio.

This position follows a hybrid working model and contributes to ELSE (Electrification Service) within ABB's Electrification business in Japan.

Key stakeholders include ELSE service project managers, customers, service operations, field service teams, sales, finance, project controls, and management teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent ELSE service experience within the assigned scope by working with a strong customer focus, speed, and care, and by continuously improving customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with customers, including on-site engagement when required, to identify opportunities to improve customer operations, enhance asset performance, and resolve service-related challenges in installed equipment.
• Oversee portfolio-level ELSE project management activities, including project governance, performance tracking, management reviews, and reviews with project managers.
• Act as an escalation point for individual or overarching project management issues, proactively supporting problem resolution and strengthening overall ELSE project execution capabilities.

As part of a collaborative and service-oriented ELSE team, you will make a meaningful impact while demonstrating high performance centered on safety, customer value, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in project and people management, with deep domain knowledge in data centers, semiconductors, and renewable energy markets.
• Demonstrated advanced skills and hands-on professional experience.
• At least 5 years of practical experience in data centers, semiconductor, or renewable energy industries.
• Preferred: Experience working as a PMO for MV/LV switchgear or related electrical equipment.
• Proficient in project, resource, and cost management tools.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Fluent communication skills in Japanese (native level) and English (business level).
• Valid PMP / PMI certification.
