Activities
Within the terms of the Code of Conduct, the job holder protects and develops TotalEnergies E&P Interests in Suriname.
- HSE:
- Ensure HSE requirements are included in the contractual documents and HSE evaluation considered in the C&P process
- Contracts and purchase orders planning and management:
- Carry out the work in strict compliance with Company rules and policies, JV and PSC requirements as well as relevant applicable laws and regulations (including tax and customs regulations); and promote Company values at all times.
- Deliver quality, cost-effective and time efficient contracts and Purchase orders to Technical entities, as required in a pro-active manner; but also, be able to react quickly and efficiently in case of operational changes and breakdown situations.
- Participate in the optimization of the economic performance of the operations performed by the affiliate.
- Participate to the implementation of the affiliate's contract and procurement strategy.
- Challenge and ensure the team have applied both technical and commercial optimization in any contract/procurement strategy by applying thorough scope demand management, standardized specifications, and cost consciousness.
- Interact between multiple stakeholders e.g., asset, end users, finance, HSE, legal, Total Global Procurement (TGP), affiliate management on C&P related matters.
- Ensure the good administration, on-time filing and update of all the documents in SAP, Agora and or the central drive.
- Participate in the preparation and consolidation of reports to local government related to local content, on a monthly basis.
- Perform monthly stock reconciliation in SAP in liaison with logistics and Finance.
- Supplier Relationship Management & Market Intelligence and Reporting:
- Conduct the suppliers' prequalification process and organize SQM and performance monitoring for key suppliers. Ensure the due implementation of lessons learned to future contracts and operations.
- Conduct local market intelligence and monitor the affiliate C&P public email address for local suppliers.
Candidate Profile
- Master's degree in procurement discipline or other equivalent.
- Intermediate level in purchasing + basic level in contract writing and negotiation.
- Good working knowledge of C&P tools (SAP, e-sourcing, Agora, Sequana).
- Good working knowledge of stock management.
- Professional experience: 0-5 years in purchasing and contracts, ideally within the O&G industry.
- Proficiency in oral and written English.
- Personal abilities: Planning, organizing and coordination proven abilities, problem-solving capacities, rigor, efficient human relationships, result-oriented, ability to work under pressure with limited supervision, ability to work efficiently alone and in teams.
- Knowledge of procurement for drilling/wells and/or logistics will be an added advantage.
- Good negotiation skills.
