As a Product Security Officer (m/w/d), you will play a key role in driving strong cybersecurity outcomes across EU‑relevant products within Emerson and Measurement Solutions. You will embed secure development practices into product lifecycles, coordinate vulnerability readiness and response, and ensure evidence‑based compliance with evolving cybersecurity regulations.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Embed secure development lifecycle (SDL) practices, including security requirements definition, threat modeling, secure design reviews, and release readiness criteria.
- Develop and maintain product‑level security documentation, compliance artifacts, and customer‑facing cybersecurity materials.
- Coordinate and support vulnerability management activities, including triage, remediation tracking, disclosure coordination, and customer readiness.
- Apply software supply chain security concepts, including SBOM management, third‑party risk assessment, supplier assurance, and vulnerability impact analysis.
- Collaborate on product and embedded security fundamentals, such as authentication, cryptography basics, secure update mechanisms, and system hardening.
- Act as a cybersecurity liaison to EU regulatory and standards bodies, supporting interpretation and internal adoption of cybersecurity requirements.

- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical or Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product security, secure product development, or cybersecurity assurance.
- Business‑level English and German (mandatory).
- Proven experience delivering secure development lifecycle practices in cross‑functional environments.
- Experience coordinating vulnerability management and disclosure activities with engineering, legal, and customer‑facing teams.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical or Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience contributing to regulatory interpretation, standards development, or external working groups.
- Strong practical knowledge of SDL practices, including threat modeling, secure design reviews, and security release criteria.
- Hands‑on experience with vulnerability management processes, including triage, remediation, disclosure, and customer communication.
- Solid understanding of software supply chain security, including SBOMs, third‑party risk, supplier assurance, and vulnerability impact assessment.
