JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Role

We are looking for a Summer Intern - Assistant Buyer to join our team in Fornebu for a 2-month internship (22 June - 21 August 2026). Full availability throughout the entire internship period is required.

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience supporting real tender and project activities, working closely with an international procurement team.

This is a practical, team-oriented position where you will contribute directly to supplier processes, purchasing activities, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with supplier pre-qualification and background checks
  • Support the preparation and presentation of Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and the evaluation of supplier proposals
  • Create purchase orders and support invoice handling processes
  • Help expedite documentation and supplier deliverables
  • Support project close-out activities and general coordination


Qualifications & Skills

Essential Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of supply management processes
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to work
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Curious mindset with a strong willingness to learn and openness to feedback


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle)
  • Educational background in economics, business, or related fields
  • Basic understanding of legal or contract-related topics
