Function Description

Our clients have vessels in all sizes with varying crew numbers; one thing they all have in common is that the crew on board needs to eat and you, as chief cook, are the responsible person to keep the crew happy with your great food. For your dishes you use fresh and tasty ingredients, you are creative and always work to the highest standards. Together with your team you are responsible for the preparation and planning of the meals for everyone on board. Beside spending time in the galley, you are also responsible for the purchasing of provisions within the given budget set by the client.

Requirements

• USA B1/B2 Visa with wind activities annotation; not OCS activities
• GWO Sea Survival
• Ship's Cook License
• Valid STCW documents
• BOSIET/FOET including CA-EBS
• Seafarer Medical
• Seaman's Book
• Valid EU Passport
• Fluent verbal and written English
• Familiarity with cooking in European cuisine, baking experience would be an advantage.
