Key responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and control programmes.
Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Identify risks and provide practical solutions to HSE challenges.
Establish and manage project safety programmes and HSE KPIs.
Lead safety committees where required.
Deliver HSE training to staff and promote employee engagement.
Maintain safety records, statistics, and reporting.
Conduct regular site audits, prepare findings, and recommend improvements.
Support the creation of a safe working environment free from incidents and violations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 9 years' relevant HSE experience.
Green Book certification is essential.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian HSE regulations.
Proven experience in HSE management, compliance, and programme development.
Strong risk assessment and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
