The Energy Equipment Human Resources team is seeking to hire a temporary intern to support the completion of a departmental file review and destruction project. This role is responsible for assisting with the review, organization, and destruction of employee records to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company policies and recordkeeping standards. The intern will work closely with HR personnel to support ongoing file management initiatives while maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
This role will be located at the NOV Tower - 10353 Richmond Ave., but occasional travel to nearby facilities may be required to support HR file management activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Review physical and digital HR files for completeness and accuracy
- Scan, digitize, or destroy employee records in accordance with company procedures
- Ensure documents are properly filed, archived, or destroyed
- Identify missing or inconsistent information and report to HR staff
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling employee data
- Assist with general administrative tasks within the HR department as needed
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Good time management and ability to complete repetitive tasks accurately
Preferred Skills
- Experience with document management systems
- Prior administrative or office experience
