We are currently seeking a Security Officer, reporting directly to the Head of the Department to join our team based in UAE, Abu Dhabi.

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting company premises, employees, visitors, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment. The role involves patrolling the site, monitoring access points, observing CCTV, reporting incidents, and responding promptly to emergencies.

Job Purpose
The Security Officer is responsible for protecting company premises, employees, visitors, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment. The role involves patrolling the site, monitoring access points, observing CCTV, reporting incidents, and responding promptly to emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas regularly to maintain security and detect suspicious activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to control entry and exit of people, vehicles, and materials.
- Check identification, verify authorizations, and ensure only permitted persons enter restricted areas.
- Observe CCTV and security systems, and report alarms, breaches, or unusual behavior.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and disturbances in a calm and professional manner.
- Prepare daily security logs, incident reports, and handover notes.
- Report theft, vandalism, trespassing, safety hazards, and policy violations immediately.
- Assist emergency services when required and follow company emergency procedures.
- Ensure doors, gates, windows, and sensitive areas are secured during and after shifts.
- Support loss prevention and safety compliance across the premises.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security, guarding, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of security procedures, access control, and emergency response.
- Good communication and observation skills.
- Ability to remain alert and act responsibly under pressure.
- Vigilance and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
- Physical fitness and stamina for patrol duties.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and logging.
- Customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Security guard license or certification, where applicable.
- Experience with CCTV monitoring and access control systems.
- Knowledge of fire safety and emergency procedures.
- Shift-based work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- May require standing, patrolling, and occasional emergency response.
- Work may be indoors, outdoors, or across multiple site locations.
- Security Supervisor / Security Manager / Site Manager
