iPS Powerful People is currently looking for skilled welders to join an upcoming offshore project.

Function Description

At iPS Powerful People, we are currently recruiting an experienced Offshore Welder for a live offshore project starting mid‑June.

This is a temporary offshore assignment (TBA) with a planned rotation of 4-6 weeks, operating in European waters.

As an Offshore Welder, you will be responsible for executing high‑quality welding works in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and offshore procedures.

You will work closely with offshore supervisors, engineers, and deck teams to ensure all welding activities are carried out safely and efficiently in a challenging offshore environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Performing offshore welding works on structures and vessel components
• Welding high‑strength steel materials (S690 or similar)
• Working according to WPS, drawings, and technical documentation
• Ensuring weld quality meets offshore and project standards
• Carrying out inspections and reporting any non‑conformities
• Following offshore safety rules, toolbox talks, and risk assessments
• Collaborating effectively with multicultural offshore teams

Requirements

• Proven offshore experience as a Welder
• Demonstrated experience with high‑strength steel (S690 or similar)
• Full GWO certification (BST + additional modules as required)
• Valid offshore medical
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work in offshore environments
• Good communication skills
