iPS Powerful People is currently looking for a qualified Deck Engineer for an upcoming offshore project.

Function Description

At iPS Powerful People, we are currently recruiting an experienced Deck Engineer for a live offshore project onboard a Flexible Fallpipe Vessel, operating in European waters.

This is a temporary offshore assignment running from 26/05/2026 until 25/06/2026, based in Rotterdam, EU.

As a Deck Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting deck operations and ensuring that all deck equipment, systems, and machinery are operated and maintained safely and efficiently.

You will work closely with the vessel's deck crew, officers, and engineers to support offshore operations in compliance with maritime and project standards.

Key responsibilities Include:

• Supporting deck operations onboard a Flexible Fallpipe Vessel
• Operating and maintaining deck machinery and equipment
• Assisting with offshore installation and fallpipe operations
• Ensuring deck activities comply with safety and operational procedures
• Conducting inspections and reporting technical or operational issues
• Participating in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and risk assessments
• Working closely with deck officers and engineering teams

Requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Deck Engineer onboard offshore vessels
• Experience working on Flexible Fallpipe Vessels is an advantage
• Valid STCW certification and seaman's book
• Valid offshore medical
• Strong safety awareness and technical understanding
• Ability to work effectively in multinational offshore teams
