This is a role within the Castrol organization, and the successful candidate will become part of the Castrol ring-fence. If you are part of the ring-fence, it is expected that your employment will move with Castrol to new ownership.

About the role:
The P&C Advisor will act as a key in‑country People & Culture point of contact for Poland and the Nordics, supporting leaders and employees across the countries in scope. The role will work closely with partnering and CoE colleagues to deliver agreed entity and sub‑entity P&C priorities, ensuring local requirements and ways of working are reflected in solutions. The P&C Advisor will collaborate across the People & Culture function to deliver key initiatives that underpin successful execution of the business strategy across Poland and the Nordics.
Given the nature of the role, the P&C Advisor must be able to flex across multiple concurrent initiatives of varying complexity, business impact, and duration, while providing responsive, hands‑on advisory support to employees and managers across the countries in scope. Experience operating in a Poland and/or Nordics P&C environment is strongly preferred, together with confidence navigating different local employment practices and cultural contexts.
Support VP P&Cs and P&C Partners in delivering agreed entity/sub‑entity P&C priorities across Poland and the Nordics; translate priorities into tangible actions and project deliverables to enable successful delivery of the people plan.
Collaborate across the People & Culture function (Partnering, CoEs, Operations & Advisory) to deliver key initiatives underpinning successful execution of the business strategy in Poland and the Nordics.
Work flexibly across single or multiple concurrent projects/initiatives that may vary in terms of complexity, business impact, geographical spread, and duration, including periods of peak demand.
Act as an in‑country P&C Advisor for Poland and the Nordics, providing day‑to‑day guidance and support to employees and people leaders, and connecting them to the right P&C services and specialist support when required.

- Align with partnering and CoE colleagues to develop, plan, and complete delivery of prioritized strategic people and culture initiatives including talent management and development, DE&I, employee engagement, reorganizations, etc., ensuring local country considerations for Poland and the Nordics are incorporated.
- Work as part of a team to translate priorities into tangible actions/project deliverables.
- Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary squad, often collaborating across geographies and time zones to ensure effective delivery.
- Maintain business knowledge to ensure deliverables are contextualized to the needs of different parts of the client organization as needed.
- Leverage and interpret data and insights relevant to the delivery of prioritized initiatives
- Partner with business leaders as needed to ensure successful project delivery
- Where supporting businesses with 24/7 operations, demonstrate willingness and ability to support Crisis & Continuity Management (C&CM) and/or IMT activities as needed, in line with local arrangements

Experience
- Demonstrated experience gained across a range of people & culture fields within commercial and operational environments
