Looking for an exciting opportunity in a fast-growing industry where you can shape how large-scale offshore wind projects are delivered?

Join Vestas as a Senior Manager in Global Offshore Planning within Customer Project Execution (CPX) and play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of complex, global renewable energy projects.

We are the team that builds the planning foundation enabling safe, efficient, and on time execution of offshore wind farm projects. Within Offshore Planning Our work ensures that project milestones, commercial obligations, and cross‑functional constraints are aligned in a coherent, data‑driven project plan.

You will join and lead a high-performing and diverse team recognized for its strong collaboration, psychological safety, and inclusive culture. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across Customer Project Execution, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance, gaining wide exposure and playing a key role in the delivery of large-scale, multi-billion-euro offshore wind projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the Project Planning team
  • Act as the primary escalation point and ensure clear alignment of interfaces across internal functions
  • Monitor and manage team performance through defined KPIs, targets, and regular reviews
  • Manage resource planning and project allocation, ensuring optimal coverage of workload and evolving project demands
  • Recruit, coach, and motivate team members, promoting growth, engagement, and strong individual and team performance
  • Ensure compliance with Vestas' policies, local agreements, and contractual obligations
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, while strengthening cross-border collaboration across the organization


Qualifications
  • Proven leadership experience, with typically 5+ years in people management roles, ideally within wind energy, construction, or other large-scale project environments
  • Educational background in Business Administration, Planning, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Understanding of project planning tools and methodologies, with knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6 (including schedule logic, structure, and coding) considered a strong plus
  • Experience working in complex, international or cross-functional environments, preferably within industrial or project-driven organizations
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, with solid proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and stakeholder communication
