Your Role
- Support process engineering activities across mineral processing, pyrometallurgy, and hydrometallurgy
- Assist in developing process flowsheets, block flow diagrams (BFDs), and process design criteria
- Perform mass and energy balances and contribute to PFD and P&ID development
- Conduct basic process calculations for leaching, solution purification, metal recovery, and thermal processing
- Support equipment sizing and prepare technical datasheets under senior guidance
- Contribute to technical studies, project reports, and interdisciplinary coordination
- Assist with data analysis, vendor reviews, technical documentation, and occasional site activities
About You
- Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related discipline
- 0-3 years of relevant experience (co op, internships, or entry level roles considered)
- ability to apply fundamental knowledge of mineral processing, hydrometallurgical, and pyrometallurgical processes
- Proficiency in Excel with familiarity in process simulation tools
- Aptitude for analytical thinking, problem solving, and working collaboratively in team-based environments
