This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile energy and engineering programme, working alongside project management, engineering, and contractor teams to drive best-in-class safety performance across all project activities.The RoleThe successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project delivery teams and contractors by ensuring health & safety standards, legislation, and site procedures are implemented effectively throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with project management teams and contractors to ensure all safety requirements are fully implemented on siteProvide professional advice and guidance on health & safety matters across project activitiesConduct safety assurance audits and inspections to verify compliance with legislative and project standardsPromote a proactive safety culture across project teams and contractor personnelLead and participate in incident and near-miss investigationsDevelop and facilitate safety learning forums and workshopsReview contractor safety documentation, procedures, and risk assessmentsSupport continuous improvement initiatives relating to health & safety performanceRequirementsEssentialMinimum 10 years' Health & Safety experience within the construction industry on large-scale projectsStrong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, standards, and codes of practiceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong stakeholder management and leadership capabilitiesAbility to work independently and use initiativeLevel 7 Qualification in Health & SafetyDesirableExperience working on utility or energy infrastructure projectsExperience supporting large-scale generation or industrial construction projectsLevel 8 Qualification in Health & SafetyEngineering or project management backgroundLocation & TravelThis role is based full-time at project offices in Ringsend, Dublin.
