Job Description

The scope of services includes General Consultancy works for Gurugram Metro Rail Project, based at Gurugram, Haryana, India. Role extensively involves supporting client in review and supervision works.

Responsibilities

• Head the Track Design and Specification Engineering Activities.
• Monitoring and contributing to the correct implementation of the track layout.
• Detailed design and review of Alignment and Track work.
• Overall, responsible for the preparation/ review and approval of procurement document.
• Preparation of Quality Control/ Quality assurance procedures (QC/QA) for Alignment and Track works.
• Review of Quality Assurance Plan and Quality Plans, submitted by the Contractor's for adequacy of such plan.
• Review of detailed report and drawings submitted by Contractors for adequacy of such plans to ensure execution of works in accordance with the contract agreement.
• Perform sample checks and other measures in terms of quality assurance plan and quality plan.
• Sample Testing of Material and providing advice to Project Director and Deputy Project Director.
• Maintaining records and reports; Assistance in Testing & Commissioning of Depot systems; Review of O&M manual for Track works and recommendations.5
• Any responsibility regarding project as entrusted by the reposting manager/ client/ designate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
• Overall minimum 20 years' experience with infrastructure projects
• Minimum 5 years' experience with Rail/ Metro projects
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage project and deadline simultaneously
• Strong communication skills when working with international teams
• Ability to work independently and proactively resolve issues
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
