Alaska Overview
The Alaska segment primarily explores for, produces, transports and markets crude oil, natural gas and NGLs. We are the largest crude oil producer in Alaska and have major ownership interests in the Prudhoe Bay, Kuparuk and Western North Slope asset areas. Additionally, we are one of Alaska's largest owners of state, federal and fee exploration leases, with approximately one million net undeveloped acres at year-end 2025. Alaska operations contributed 12 percent of our consolidated liquids production and one percent of our consolidated natural gas production.
In 2025, net crude oil production in Alaska averaged 199 MBOED.
Position Overview
The Material Planner - Bulk Chemical & Fuels is responsible for planning, coordinating, and assuring the timely availability of bulk chemicals and fuels that support Alaska North Slope operations. Based in Anchorage, this role provides end‑to‑end material planning and logistics coordination while balancing safety, cost, inventory constraints, and operational risk.
The position works closely with Maintenance, North Slope Operations, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams to forecast demand, manage bulk material movements, and proactively address supply chain risks. This role offers the opportunity to develop deep knowledge of Alaska operations, transportation constraints, and bulk material supply systems while directly supporting safe and reliable field execution.

Position Overview
The Material Planner - Bulk Chemical & Fuels is responsible for planning, coordinating, and assuring the timely availability of bulk chemicals and fuels that support Alaska North Slope operations. Based in Anchorage, this role provides end‑to‑end material planning and logistics coordination while balancing safety, cost, inventory constraints, and operational risk.
The position works closely with Maintenance, North Slope Operations, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams to forecast demand, manage bulk material movements, and proactively address supply chain risks. This role offers the opportunity to develop deep knowledge of Alaska operations, transportation constraints, and bulk material supply systems while directly supporting safe and reliable field execution.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Plan and forecast bulk chemical and fuel demand to support facility and field operations across Alaska assets.
- Create and manage material and service requisitions; research materials, obtain quotes and data sheets, and manage long‑lead items.
- Coordinate closely with Logistics and Supply Chain to schedule transportation, routing, storage, and delivery of bulk materials.
- Monitor inventory levels across Anchorage, Fairbanks, and North Slope locations to ensure minimum and emergency supply requirements are met.
- Proactively identify and respond to supply chain risks such as weather impacts, transportation constraints, vendor delays, or damaged shipments.
- Maintain end‑to‑end accountability for orders from planning through delivery, receipting, and invoice resolution.
- Support compliance and availability of railcar and ISO assets, including coordination of cleaning, repairs, and recertification activities.
- Partner with North Slope operations and field personnel to resolve material usage, storage, and delivery issues.
- Develop and maintain reports and forecasts to communicate trends, risks, and planning assumptions; leverage data tools such as Power BI when available.
- Participate in special projects and trials by coordinating material planning, sourcing, and logistics support.

Basic/Required:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Valid/current driver's license
- 5 or more years of Materials Management experience
- Advanced level of knowledge in GEP and SAP MM module or similar enterprise planning and procurement systems
- Intermediate knowledge of materials planning, supply chain coordination, logistics, or procurement support in an industrial or operational environment
Preferred:
- 5 or more years of North Slope Materials Management experience
- Experience supporting Alaska or remote operations with knowledge of transportation and logistics constraints
- Experience planning or managing bulk chemicals, fuels, or fluids in support of maintenance, drilling, or facility operations
- Experience using data and reporting tools; Power BI experience preferred
- Knowledge of AK transportation restrictions and Chemical/Fuel storage for each location applicable
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate risk, prioritize workload, and make informed decisions in a dynamic operating environment
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams, including Maintenance, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Operations.
