We are looking for a Package Superintendent (Warm End) with the following details:

Job Overview / Summary

• The Package Superintendent is responsible for overseeing construction activities within a specified area of the LNG project.
• This includes ensuring that site works are properly managed and executed by the Contractor and their approved Subcontractors in accordance with the Contract Agreement.
• The role emphasizes promoting HSE standards, compliance with relevant requirements, monitoring contractor performance, interfacing with various stakeholders, and delivering a fit-for-purpose facility while adhering to safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.

• Location: Afungi - Cabo Delgado, Mozambique
• Work Mode: Rotational 28 days ON and 28 days OFF
• Duration : 12 months

Qualifications

• A degree / diploma qualification or equivalent in a related discipline field and/or Oil & Gas construction projects
• LNG Project experience
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills required. Portuguese or French is advantageous

Responsibilities and Skills

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire safety commitment in Client and all Contractors and Subcontractors teams via deep knowledge of HSE and leadership by example
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE requirements across works to promote a healthy and safe work environment
  • Analyze and report performance of all Contractors and Subcontractors activities, identify any deviations/risks, and contribute to timely propose mitigations to the Project Management Team
  • Monitor and review Contractor-related assurance activities and verification documentation
  • Assure Contractor is performing all works in accordance with the approved plans and procedures
  • Work in close collaboration with EPC Contractors to ensure construction activities meet project rules including objectives for HSE, Quality, Schedule, and Cost aspects
  • Coordination with other departments for safe and on-time execution of the work, delivering a fit-for-purpose facility
  • Gather and validate lessons learned from all project team participants and provide feedback
