Short Description

We are looking for an experienced Pit Bottom / Pit Operator to join an E-Power Pipe project in Germany. This role is essential to the safe and efficient execution of trenchless operations, supporting the drilling crew from the pit side and ensuring continuous workflow during installation works.

Function Description

• Support the setup, operation, and demobilisation of E-Power Pipe equipment at pit level
• Assist with handling pipes, drilling tools, and lifting operations within the pit
• Coordinate closely with the driller, rig crew, and site management during operations
• Monitor pit conditions and ensure safe access, housekeeping, and organisation
• Guide pipe installation and alignment during push or pull operations
• Assist with drilling fluid (mud) circulation, pumping, and basic monitoring
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards at all times
• Support troubleshooting and respond to operational challenges on site

Requirements

• Proven experience in trenchless projects (E-Power Pipe, Direct Pipe, microtunnelling, or HDD)
• Experience working as Pit Bottom / Pit Operator / Tunnel Crew
• Good understanding of lifting operations and working in confined spaces
• Basic knowledge of drilling fluids (mud systems) is an advantage
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork mindset
• EU work permit
• Good English level
