Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on System Architect with 10 to 12+ years of experience who can actively design, build, and deliver scalable enterprise solutions. This role goes beyond architecture governance - you will be deeply involved in implementation, integration, and problem-solving across SaaS, non-SaaS, AI, and web service ecosystems.
You will work closely with engineering teams to turn architecture into working systems, ensuring high-quality, performant, and secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Hands-On Architecture & Development
- Design and implement end-to-end architecture solutions (not just diagrams)
- Contribute to code, POCs, and critical modules (APIs, integrations, services)
- Build reusable frameworks, accelerators, and integration patterns
- Fix complex production issues and provide root-cause solutions
2. Integration Engineering (Core Focus)
- Design and develop integrations across:
- SaaS platforms (e.g. Workday, Salesforce, etc.) On-prem legacy systems. AI/ML services and data platforms. Build and manage:. REST/SOAP APIs. Microservices. Event-driven systems (Kafka, queues). Work with middleware tools (MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar) or build custom integration layers.
3. Cloud-Native Development
- Architect and deploy solutions on AWS / Azure / GCP
- Develop cloud-native services (serverless, containers, microservices)
- Work on CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment automation
- Optimize performance, scalability, and cost.
4. AI & Modern Tech Enablement
- Awareness of emerging AI architecture models
- Integrate AI/ML services (e.g., NLP APIs, recommendation systems, GenAI APIs) into applications
- Build data flows for real-time and batch processing
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies pragmatically (not hype-driven)
- Implement responsible AI practices:
- Data privacy and security
- Bias mitigation and explainability
- Experience exposing AI capabilities via APIs/microservices for enterprise consumption
- Familiarity with MLOps concepts (model lifecycle, monitoring, versioning)
- Ability to identify where AI adds real value vs where it's unnecessary (this is a big differentiator)
5. Code Quality & Engineering Excellence
- Enforce coding standards, design principles, and best practices
- Perform code reviews and guide teams on implementation approaches
- Ensure observability (logging, monitoring, tracing) is built into systems
6. Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into working solutions
- Partner with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Act as the go-to technical expert during critical releases
Required Skills & Experience
- 10 to 12+ years in software engineering with strong hands-on development background
- Proven experience building and integrating:
- SaaS and non-SaaS systems
- APIs and microservices architectures
- Strong coding experience in at least one major language: Java / Python / Node.js (or similar)
- Experience with:
- Integration platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, or custom-built)
- Messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
- Solid cloud experience (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Deep understanding of:
- REST/SOAP, authentication (OAuth2, JWT)
- Data formats (JSON, XML)
- System design and scalability
Preferred Certifications
- TOGAF (nice-to-have, not mandatory for hands-on roles)
- AWS / Azure / GCP Solution Architect
- Integration certifications (MuleSoft, Boomi)

Software Engineer with strong experience in cloud native and serverless architectures. The role involves building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using AWS, Node.js, and Python, while collaborating closely with multi-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain serverless and containerized backend services on AWS. Build and manage AWS Lambda, Fargate/ECS, and related cloud components.
- Develop RESTful and event driven APIs using Node.js and Python. Design scalable, fault tolerant, secure architectures
- Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and DevOps teams. Write clean, maintainable, and well tested code. Participate in system design, architecture, and code reviews
- Optimize performance, reliability, and cost on AWS. Implement security best practices, monitoring, and logging. Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Required Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with serverless architectures

- Proficiency in Node.js and Python

- Infrastructure as Code exposure (CloudFormation, Terraform) - plus
Architecture & Design
- Strong understanding of design patterns
- Knowledge of system design and distributed systems
- Experience designing scalable, highavailability applications

- Docker and container orchestration basics
- Event-driven systems (SNS, SQS, Event Bridge)
- Monitoring, logging, and observability tools
