Project Planner and Risk Engineer

About the Opportunity

An international energy operator is seeking an experienced Project Planner and Risk Engineer to support the delivery of major offshore and subsea developments. This position will play a key role in project controls, planning integration, risk coordination and progress tracking across complex EPCIC project activities.

The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary project teams and contractors to support planning performance, reporting accuracy and project execution across all phases of delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support integrated project planning and scheduling activities across offshore and subsea projects
• Coordinate project controls and risk management processes during EPCIC execution
• Monitor project progress, forecasting and performance reporting
• Support schedule integration and interface coordination between project teams and contractors
• Track project milestones, deliverables and critical path activities
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards and management presentations
• Assist with risk identification, mitigation planning and reporting activities
• Support project cost and schedule performance analysis
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams
• Ensure project reporting and planning data remain accurate and up to date

Requirements

• Engineering or technical degree qualification
• Minimum 10 years of experience within the oil and gas industry
• Minimum 10 years of experience working on subsea facilities projects
• Previous experience in project controls within a major oil and gas operator or contractor environment
• Strong experience in EPCIC project execution and workflows
• Previous experience supervising and coordinating contractors
• Experience in project tracking, forecasting and performance measurement
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SAP and project management systems
• Strong communication and coordination skills within multidisciplinary project environments
