NES Fircroft are looking for a Senior Planning & Reporting Engineer to join a major operator in the UAE.

This is a key position within the Project Control team, responsible for planning, scheduling, and progress reporting across multi-site project activities, ensuring accurate performance tracking and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

As Senior Planning & Reporting Engineer, you will:

• Lead project scheduling and progress measurement activities across all worksites
• Develop, maintain and analyse project schedules, identifying critical paths and risks
• Coordinate planning activities across EPC contractors and site teams
• Ensure consistent progress measurement methodologies are applied and adhered to
• Consolidate and deliver weekly and monthly project reports, including dashboards and KPIs
• Monitor contractor performance, reviewing and approving progress reports and schedules
• Provide forecasting, analysis, and corrective action recommendations
• Support schedule risk analysis and interface management
• Prepare high-quality management presentations and reports
• Ensure availability of accurate, up-to-date planning documentation for stakeholders
• Capture and share lessons learned to improve project performance
• Act as a focal point for Digital Twin integration related to planning and reporting
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all project scheduling and performance data

This is a high-value, technically complex project delivered in a multi-partner, international environment.

Qualifications & Experience
To be considered, you should have:

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 15 years’ experience, including:
  • Minimum 10 years in oil & gas construction project
  • Experience in a similar planning & reporting role
• Strong expertise in:
  • Scheduling & progress control techniques
  • Primavera (P6) and MS Office tools
  • Project controls, cost and schedule management
  • Contract & EPC environment
• Proven ability to work in complex, multi-disciplinary projects
