MEP Engineer

We are seeking an experienced MEP engineer to join our project team in Attiki and oversee all mechanical and electrical works across major infrastructure and/or building projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction supervision, site engineering, and coordination of MEP activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. The role requires excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams. Candidates should hold a degree in mechanical engineering and possess at least 8 years of relevant industry experience. Professional proficiency in both Greek and English, along with strong Microsoft Office skills, is essential.

Responsibilities

The duties of the MEP Engineer shall include but not be limited to the following tasks:

• In-charge for overseeing all Mechanical and Electrical works
• Ensure the MEP work carried out is as per approved shop drawing and within the time frame and progress of the approved construction program.
• Ensure that the installation, inspection and testing of all the MEP equipment, fittings and work implemented meets the specification and the consultant requirements.
• Verify the accuracy of shop drawings and their compliance with the specification, consultant's design and existing local authority standard.
• Complete responsibility to decide on day-to-day work that needs to be carried out by subordinates including scheduling of activities, assigning task to groups or individuals, accuracy of work conducted, supplying resources, and dealing with operational issues and problems.
• Coordinate with other project personnel to ensure that deadlines, procedures, and other project requirements are met.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the construction industry on supervision, site engineering or/and design duties
• Proven experience in civil infrastructure and/or building projects.
• Capability in reporting, attending meetings, business communication and clients' relations.
• Excellent Greek and Professional English (speaking and writing)
• Professional knowledge of Microsoft Suite (word, Excel)
