The A&P Mechanical Instructor - Coordinator / B1 will develop, deliver, coordinate, and evaluate H145 mechanical maintenance training in accordance with approved training standards, OEM documentation, project procedures, and customer requirements.
The instructor will provide classroom and practical instruction covering H145 airframe and powerplant systems, including engines, transmission, rotor systems, flight controls, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, landing gear, environmental systems, mechanical assemblies, servicing, inspection practices, troubleshooting, component replacement, and general maintenance procedures.
The role includes developing structured OJT programs, lesson plans, technical presentations, practical exercises, training handouts, assessment tools, evaluation checklists, and training records. The instructor will directly supervise technicians during practical training, monitor their progress, assess competence, and ensure that all OJT activities are properly documented.
The position also requires coordination with maintenance management, quality control, training departments, B1/B2 technicians, supervisors, and customer representatives to ensure that training content is aligned with operational requirements, safety standards, maintenance procedures, and aircraft availability.
The instructor will support the development of maintenance personnel by ensuring they understand correct use of aircraft maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogues, service bulletins, tooling requirements, inspection standards, defect reporting, technical log entries, and maintenance release documentation.
Where required, the instructor may also support technical writing activities, including preparation or review of training manuals, maintenance procedures, work instructions, assessment forms, and technical guidance documents.

The candidate must hold a minimum diploma in aircraft maintenance or a recognized aviation maintenance training program in the relevant mechanical maintenance specialty of at least two years. An EASA Part-66 B1, FAA A&P, GACA, CAA, or equivalent aircraft maintenance license is preferred.
The candidate must have at least five years of proven H145 maintenance experience in a military or civilian environment, with strong practical knowledge of mechanical systems, airframe, powerplant, inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance documentation. The candidate must also have at least three years of proven experience as a technical instructor in aviation maintenance.
The candidate must hold an H145 type rating issued by an approved organization or OEM-recognized training provider. Formal instructor qualification or an instructor course certificate from a recognized organization is required.
