In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Lead and implement sourcing initiatives that reduce total cost of ownership while improving lead times and supplier reliability.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that support new product development, large projects, and ongoing operations, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Collaborate with supply chain and operations partners to support make‑or‑buy decisions, insourcing and outsourcing initiatives, and product relocations.
- Identify and qualify suppliers across regions, supporting localization and global sourcing strategies where appropriate.
- Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance metrics, including quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
- Support inventory and working capital improvement by partnering with supply chain teams to reduce lead times and improve flexibility.
- Build and maintain effective contract management practices to ensure transparency, compliance, and value from the supplier base.
- Contribute to global sourcing initiatives and continuous improvement programs aligned with Emerson standards and policies.

- Experience working in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain‑related roles, with demonstrated impact on cost, quality, or delivery performance.
- The ability to analyze data and evaluate total cost, risk, and supplier capabilities to support sound sourcing decisions.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional and international teams.
- Comfort working with ERP or sourcing systems and maintaining accurate sourcing and supplier data.
- Proficiency in English for professional communication.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience leading or contributing to strategic sourcing projects in a manufacturing or technical environment.
- Exposure to supplier negotiations, contract management, or global sourcing initiatives.
