This is a role within the Castrol organisation, and the successful candidate will become part of the Castrol ring-fence. If you are part of the ring-fence, it is expected that your employment will move with Castrol to new ownership.

About the role:

Main purpose of this role is to lead O2C process improvement initiatives with a focus on customer experience and efficiency of process execution. The job holder will strive for functional excellence in the extended O2C process area by developing and securing the right system solutions (SAP backed), promoting end-to-end process consistency and build knowledge within the SAP user community.

Shift Timing: 12:30 pm - 9:30 pm (Oct-Mar) / India - 11:30 am - 8:30 pm (Apr-Sep)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acts as Product Owner for assigned process/system improvements initiatives:
    • owning the "What" the sprint team is going to deliver
    • providing vision and direction
    • manages/prioritizes the list of potential work (Product Backlog)
    • brings the "voice of the customer" into the scrum team
    • gathers feedback, lessons learnt and decides how to act upon improving the team's output performance
  • Develop SAP backed processes with a focus on automation, simplification, and standardisation.
  • Translate business requirements (User Stories) into functional requirements working closely with other Product Owners, Solution Design leads, offshore Technical Developers and Business SMEs to ensure the technical solution meets the Product Backlog Item acceptance criteria.
  • Process mining and use of metrics to define process improvement focus areas.
  • Works closely with the user community and BAU support team ensuring qualitative IT ticket requirements are captured, swift and high-quality solutions provided. Supports interventions and escalations where required.
  • Provide functional support to key users and help improve their end-to-end process knowledge and SAP skills.
  • Drive standardisation of system solutions and processes throughout the EMEA SAP landscape.
  • Develop process documentation.
  • Develop detailed and high quality (operational lens) test plans.
  • Lead SAP development deployments and management of change (testing, cutover planning, UAT & ELS support, training).
  • Works together with cross functional agile and local teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Acts as key stakeholder/contributor to the O2C Community of Practice.
  • Supports the Lubricants Digital aspirations by developing solutions that bring visibility into the End-to-End supply chain enabling enhanced customer experience.
  • Acts as one of the goes to persons for SAP process and functional queries in Ext O2C process area.
  • Carries out "pulse checks" with end users, checking in on process performance/adherence and improvement opportunities.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Economics, Supply Chain or Information Technology

• SAP training modules with a preference in SAP O2C ECC + APO stock deployment/logistics condition scheduling.

Experience

• 8 to 12 years of experience in similar business context on O2C processes and SAP based system landscape.

• Experienced in running fit-gap analysis, process design, SAP go live and support cycles.

• Experienced with business transformation projects and change management activities

• Experienced in agile project delivery, scrum methodology.
