Data Centre Manager Job Description Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne, United Kingdom Start Date: 22 May 2026 Pay Rate: £65,000 per annum Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Centre Manager to oversee the operations of our data centre in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the data centre, managing a team of technicians, and implementing best practices to ensure the security and reliability of our data centre operations. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the data centre Lead a team of technicians and provide guidance and support Implement and maintain data centre policies and procedures Ensure the security and reliability of data centre operations Monitor and report on data centre performance and efficiency Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the data centre Required Skills and Experience: 5+ years of experience in data centre management Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent knowledge of data centre operations and best practices Experience with data centre security and compliance standards Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Relevant certifications (e.g. CDCP, CDCS) would be an advantage
