JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a project management team on a major data center project in Thailand. Prior experience on large capital projects, especially constructions site and managing construction subcontractors, is a must, and the role will be site based.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What makes you remarkable?

• Lead Wood management team at site overseeing project execution including HSSE, supply chain, cost management, planning, construction management.
• Work with client in establishing client's requirements among the construction subcontractors
• Support establishing HSSE culture at site and provide proactive, visible HSSE leadership
• Establish effective communication and coordination procedures with Client and Construction Contractors
• Analyse and interrogate construction contractors' schedules and progress reports to confirm accurately reflect status of project, to identify trends, areas of concern, and review Contractor's proposed mitigations
• Participate and lead project reviews
• Support resolution of construction Contractor's queries on the project
• Review and comment on Construction Contractor's Change Requests
• Ensure Wood meets its contractual responsibilities on the Project
• Manage Wood's commercial interests on the Project
• Apply / demonstrate the highest standard of business ethics and compliance with Wood core values

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar technical field preferred
• Professional certification such as: MBA, PMP, PE desired
• 20 years' experience with a min of 5 years in Project Management or similar in the oil and gas or petrochemical industries
• Ability to work in multi-cultural environment
• Experience managing large projects, through from home office EP to construction and commissioning including as PMC, preferred
