We are currently seeking a Laboratory & Analyzer Specialist reporting directly to Precom & Com Manager to join our Precommissioning team based in Ensenada, Baja California Mexico.

About the opportunity we offer:

The Laboratory Supervisor is mainly responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of the Laboratory subcontractor. He will closely co-operate with all CSO and Discipline Supervisors and/or Superintendent to ensure commissioning, start-up and operation support of Laboratory and Analyzer houses.

Main activities can be summarized as follows:
  • Commissioning of analyzer houses.
  • Ensure of readiness of analyzer houses and laboratory for SU.
  • Ensure that the sampling schedule for each phase of the project is followed.
  • Ensure that results of the different analysis are shared.
  • Participate in the commissioning and start-up activities for all laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure the maintenance and accuracy of laboratory equipment used
  • Support the troubleshooting of process units based on laboratory analysis.Ensure the reliability of the laboratory results (troubleshooting in case of required)
  • Notify CSO manager in case of any deviation in the performance of the laboratory subcontractor.

Qualifications: Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Automatization, Electronics.

Languages: Fluenty English & Spanish.

Main skills: Excellent organization, human leadership, and interpersonal communication skills. Proven ability to resolve conflicts with vendors and contractors.
