This role is contributing to the Procurement Team in EUOPC (European Operation Center). The main stakeholders are part of Energy Industries Denmark and Finland within ABB's Automation business area.

This role is contributing to the Procurement Team in EUOPC (European Operation Center). The main stakeholders are part of Energy Industries Denmark and Finland within ABB's Automation business area.
Main responsibilities
- Execute purchase orders for electronic components and assemblies in line with demand planning, production schedules, and contractual agreements while ensuring on-time material availability
- Monitor supplier confirmations, delivery commitments, shipment status, and operational performance, while promptly resolving delays, shortages, and supply disruptions
- Act as the main operational contact for suppliers, handling daily communication, expediting critical orders, and supporting recovery plans when required
- Maintain accurate pricing, lead times, and supplier master data in SAP and related procurement systems, including support for invoice discrepancy resolution together with Finance
- Collaborate closely with Global Category Managers, Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics teams to align supply with operational and production requirements
- Support new product introductions (NPI), engineering change notices (ECNs), and phase-in/phase-out activities for electronic materials and components
- Ensure compliance with ABB purchasing policies, governance standards, and sustainability requirements across procurement activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and supply chain operations to enhance efficiency, delivery performance, and operational excellence
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management , Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- Several years of experience in an operational buyer or procurement role within electronic components, EMS, or manufacturing environments
- Solid understanding of electronic materials, BOM structures, manufacturing supply chains, and procurement operations
- Practical experience using ERP systems, such as SAP
- Experience working in a global, matrix-driven industrial environment
- Solid organizational and execution skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment
- Initiative-taking and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work on own tasks while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Clear communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English
