This Position reports to:
Warehouse Supervisor

Votre rôle et vos responsabilités

Dans ce rôle, vous aurez l'occasion de soutenir l'unité dans l'atteinte des objectifs de production établis en respectant les systèmes et les processus. Au quotidien, vous utiliserez des machines et des équipements sur le plancher de production. Vous ferez également preuve de votre expertise en lisant et en interprétant des schémas techniques et des instructions pour l'assemblage de produits, de systèmes ou de panneaux.

Le modèle de travail pour ce poste est : sur site et temporaire.

Ce poste contribue à la division Éclairage d'urgence à Dorval.

Vous serez principalement responsable de :

• Prélever et acheminer les matériaux vers les postes de travail désignés à l'aide d'un chariot.
• Effectuer les transactions d'inventaire et de matériel à l'aide d'un appareil RF portatif.
• Réapprovisionner les bacs et compléter les feuilles d'instructions de l'entrepôt.
• Effectuer les transactions de transfert du magasin vers les tables de production.
• Retourner les articles non utilisés à l'entrepôt.
• Maintenir la propreté de l'entrepôt.
• Effectuer le kitting manuel des pièces, incluant les opérations de backflush.
• Opérer un tugger pour la manutention interne des matériaux (optionnel).
• Vous vous joindrez à une équipe dynamique, talentueuse et performante, dans laquelle vous pourrez vous épanouir.

Qualifications pour le poste

• Démontrer une bonne dextérité manuelle pour les tâches d'emballage et d'étiquetage
• Être à l'aise avec le travail manuel répétitif
• Être en mesure de demeurer debout pendant de longues périodes
• Maîtriser l'utilisation de scanners portatifs
• Faire preuve d'ouverture à la rotation des postes et des tâches
• Capacité à maintenir le flux de travail selon les objectifs établis
• Autonomie, polyvalence et esprit d'équipe
• Maîtrise du français ou de l'anglais, à l'oral, à l'écrit et à la lecture
• Connaissance de l'utilisation d'un ordinateur de poche (atout)

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Each day, you will use machinery and equipment on the shop floor. You will also showcase your expertise by reading and interpreting the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels.

The work model for the role is: onsite & temporary.

This role is contributing to the Emergency Lighting Division in Dorval.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Pick and deliver materials to designated workstations using a cart.
• Perform inventory and material transactions using an RF handheld device.
• Replenish bins and complete warehouse instruction sheets.
• Perform transfer transactions from the warehouse to production tables.
• Return unused items to the warehouse.
• Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Perform manual kitting of parts, including backflushing operations.
• Operate a tugger for internal material handling (optional)

Qualifications for the role

• Demonstrates good manual dexterity for packaging and labeling tasks
• Comfortable performing repetitive manual work
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Proficient in using handheld scanners
• Open to job/task rotation.
• Ability to maintain the workflow according to the established objectives.
• Autonomy, versatility, team spirit.
• French or English, spoken, written and read.
• Knowledge of how to use a pocket computer (preferred)
