Function Description

As a Senior Crewing Officer, you will take ownership of the planning and coordination of personnel across multiple projects. You ensure that all mobilisations are executed efficiently, compliantly, and in line with project timelines.

Your responsibilities include:

• Overseeing crew planning and allocation across several projects, ensuring optimal deployment and continuity
• Managing complex mobilisation processes, including rotations, replacements, and last-minute changes
• Monitoring workforce availability and contributing to long-term planning, forecasts, and tenders
• Identifying risks in crew planning and proactively adjusting when project needs shift
• Ensuring all personnel meet required certifications, training, medical, and visa requirements
• Maintaining accurate crew records, contracts, and documentation
• Coordinating travel, logistics, and onboarding for mobilisations
• Acting as a key point of contact for crew members, project teams, and contractors
• Ensuring compliance with maritime regulations, client standards, and internal procedures
• Supporting daily alignment with project stakeholders to ensure seamless execution
• Working with planning systems to maintain real-time visibility on crew status

Requirements

We are looking for someone who brings both experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment:

• 5-10 years of experience in crewing or workforce planning within offshore, maritime, or aviation sectors
• Experience with companies such as Boskalis, Van Oord, Heerema, or similar is highly preferred
• MBO+/HBO working and thinking level
• Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Comfortable working under pressure and adapting quickly to changing schedules
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset
• Experience with planning systems and administrative processes
