Job Description

Mumbai Metro Line 4 and 4A are part of the city's expanding rapid transit network being developed by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA). Line 4 is a major 32.3 km elevated metro corridor running from Wadala to Kasarvadavali in Thane, with around 30 stations and extensive connectivity across the eastern suburbs. This role focuses on ensuring effective interface management between civil, track, E&M, and system contractors to achieve a safe, reliable, and fully integrated transport system.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor execution of telecom system works for the assigned metro corridor/section.
• Ensure implementation of telecom systems in compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, contract requirements, and approved designs.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including E&M, signaling, PSD, AFC, SCADA, civil, viaduct, architectural, and track teams for interface management.
• Verify contractor measurements, work progress, inspection requests, and billing quantities related to telecom works.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to approved quality assurance and quality control procedures.
• Monitor compliance with safety procedures and ensure implementation of EHS standards at site.
• Identify technical issues, construction constraints, and interface conflicts; provide timely recommendations and corrective actions.
• Review and track material approvals, delivery schedules, and inventory status for telecom systems.
• Prepare and maintain progress reports, inspection records, NCRs, punch lists, and testing/commissioning documentation.
• Coordinate with client representatives, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders for smooth execution of telecom activities.
• Support trial runs, integrated system testing, operational readiness, and handover activities.
• Ensure timely closure of defects, snags, and non-conformities before final acceptance.
• Assist senior management in project monitoring, risk assessment, and progress review meetings.

Qualifications

• B.E.(EC&E/Electrical/Electronics) With 07 years of overall experience
• Diploma (EC&E/Electrical/Electronics) with 10 years of minimum overall experience
