Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist local unit in developing the necessary capabilities to effectively control products and systems. Each day, you will ensure compliance with internal, customer, and industry requirements within a cost-effective and safe working environment. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the development and implementation of standards and test methods to ensure only compliant products, software, and services are released to the customer.

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist local unit in developing the necessary capabilities to effectively control products and systems. Each day, you will ensure compliance with internal, customer, and industry requirements within a cost-effective and safe working environment. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the development and implementation of standards and test methods to ensure only compliant products, software, and services are released to the customer.
The work model for the role is: onsite
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Own in-process and finished product quality control; develop and maintain QCP, PFMEA, check sheets and related quality documents.
- Identify potential quality risks, drive root cause analysis (RCA) for non-conformities, implement corrective/preventive actions, and ensure effective closure.
- Handle customer complaints, conduct investigations, propose solutions, and follow up to prevent recurrence; support on-site customer visits as needed.
- Prepare ITP and documentation for special orders; align with internal teams and customers on requirements and revisions.
- Coordinate and execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) at customer sites, including scheduling, communication and on-site inspection support.
- Coordinate supervision inspections for special equipment and compile order delivery documentation.
- Manage calibration of measuring instruments used in production.
- Maintain ISO 9001 quality system, support internal/external audits, and optimize inspection standards and work instructions.
- Collect and analyze quality data, issue regular quality reports, and provide data insights for process and product improvement.
- Support NPI and process changes with quality risk assessment and validation.
- Deliver quality training to production teams to reduce human-related defects.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Manufacturing, Materials, Quality or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years' quality engineering experience in manufacturing.
- Hands-on knowledge of machining, assembly, injection molding or stamping processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with practical use of 5-Why, Fishbone, 8D, FMEA.
- Solid on-site quality control and cross-functional coordination ability.
- Familiar with ISO 9001 (IATF16949 a plus); able to conduct internal audits.
- Proficient in mechanical drawings, specifications and common measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, hardness testers).
- Basic data analysis and report writing skills.
