You will play a key role in supporting project cost tracking, governance, reporting, and compliance activities within a major industrial project in Jubail. This position is critical in helping the project team maintain visibility, manage performance, and support timely project execution.
Function Description
As a Project Cost Controller, you will support the project team in cost monitoring, project reporting, stakeholder compliance, and governance coordination to ensure project activities remain aligned with approved plans and objectives.
• Support the project team by tracking and reporting project cost while routinely interfacing with the Finance department.
• Monitor key project activities and actions including assurance events, decision gates, project reviews, and governance milestones.
• Support workstream leaders in completing assigned actions on time.
• Develop terms of reference and presentations for key project events including value assurance reviews and project kick-off meetings.
• Prepare monthly project overview and reporting packs for Steering Committee review.
• Prepare and maintain project dashboard and agreed reporting indicators.
• Monitor project KPIs and Critical Success Factors (CSFs).
• Review project performance and identify deviations against approved plans.
• Recommend corrective actions and support project manager with follow-up.
• Manage and coordinate project meeting schedules with internal and external participants.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure major material packages are available when required.
• Monitor project compliance and recommend corrective actions where needed.
• Maintain and monitor Stakeholder Engagement Plan compliance and flag required actions in advance.
• Initiate project RFAs (Request for Authorization) according to Manual of Authority and approved work plan.
• Support continuous improvement and project control reporting accuracy.

Requirements
• Degree in Engineering.
• Around 10 years of project controls / project services experience.
• Strong multi-discipline project execution knowledge and experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team leadership and coaching skills.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in project finance processes.
• Ability to work effectively in team environments.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Self-driven with a proactive and accountable working style.
• Strong reporting and presentation skills.
• Learner mindset with ability to adapt and improve processes.
Preferred Qualifications
• International project experience.
• Experience in multicultural work environments.
• Middle East experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of financial ERP systems is an advantage.
• Experience in industrial or EPC project environments is preferred.
