We are seeking a "Team Leader" for the Chemistry Laboratory team at the Intertek Turkey office.

• Graduates of university Chemistry or Chemical Engineering programs
• With a minimum of 7-8 years of laboratory experience and 4-5 years of managerial experience
• Experienced in laboratory testing (pH, formaldehyde, chromium +6)
• Proficient in the use of UV-VIS and HPLC-DAD instruments
• Proficient in the ISO 17025 Quality Management System, with knowledge and experience in laboratory accreditation processes, and quality and customer-focused
• Competent in leadership, planning and organization, delegation, coordination, taking initiative, and time and crisis management
• Competent in relationship management and teamwork
• Possesses analytical thinking skills
• Proficient in English
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Preferably residing in the European Side of Istanbul.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensure, maintain, monitor, and continuously improve the compliance of all activities in the
• Chemistry Laboratory with the ISO 17025 Quality Management System; conduct audits and identify necessary corrective actions
• Monitor all regulations and test methods relevant to the Chemistry Laboratory; conduct feasibility studies and carry out method adaptation work
• Conduct accreditation processes
• Conduct efficiency analyses in subordinate units, plan efficiency-enhancing initiatives such as 5S and Lean Management Practices, and ensure their sustainability
• Prepare various periodic reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all activities within the Chemistry Laboratory.
