- Manage and operate the Fire & Emergency Response Training Center, ensuring all facilities, live‑fire systems, rescue props, and equipment are maintained in a safe, compliant, and fully operational condition.
- Deliver, manage, and continuously improve/evaluate all firefighting, emergency response, confined space rescue, rope rescue, and fire/emergency response training programs for onshore and offshore operations.
- Ensure the Company maintains a competent, audit‑ready Emergency Response Team (ERT) capable of responding to fires, rescues, hazardous conditions, and major accident hazards.
- Provide Emergency Response Training with Government Certification for the courses in the new Fire Training Center.
- Perform training needs analysis and develop training courses and training plans to address Emergency Response and fire personnel requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of the Fire Training Center, ensuring all training grounds, live‑fire props, rescue systems, and BA facilities are safe, functional, and maintained to approved Local and International standards.
- Ensure all emergency response equipment is kept in a state of readiness, including cleanliness, repairs, testing, and certification.
- Supervise inspections of the fire training centers hydrants, fixed firefighting systems, and emergency resources; maintain fire system logbooks and inspection records.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all firefighting, rescue, and training equipment; ensure subordinates and trainees are competent in their use.
- Control work permits, fire safety requirements and verify compliance with Company procedures.
- Ensure availability, preparedness, and proper functioning of fire extinguishing, detection, and rescue equipment.
- Identify hazardous areas and recommend corrective actions; ensure third‑party testing and certification of fire protection systems.
- Identify fire safety/HSE violations and contribute to corrective and disciplinary processes.
- Maintain Training Center documentation, SOPs, equipment logs, and safety procedures, ensuring that the learning content is alignment to current industry practices.
- Identify people in fault of violating requirements of fire safety and of fire occurrence.
- Support investigations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives related to fire safety, emergency response, and rescue operations.
Education
- Diploma in Fire Safety, Emergency Management, or a related higher‑education discipline.
- Minimum 5 - 8 years' experience in firefighting and emergency response preferably in oil & gas or industrial environments including 5 years' experience as a Fire Officer or a supervisory role.
- Demonstrated experience delivering structured fire, rescue, and ERT training.
- Experience managing or operating a fire training facility.
- Experience in confined space and rope rescue operations.
- Experience supporting audits and maintaining training records.
- Experience developing competency‑based training aligned with regulatory requirements.
- 75% of the Trainings will be delivered outside the Office, 25% of the duties are performed in the Training Center/Office
