The Supply Chain & Materials Specialist Intern supports supply chain and warehouse/materials management functions within the organization. This role provides hands-on exposure to sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and warehouse operations.

Supply Chain and Materials Specialist Intern
The Supply Chain & Materials Specialist Intern supports supply chain and warehouse/materials management functions within the organization. This role provides hands-on exposure to sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Support supplier management activities including basic performance evaluation, onboarding, and issue resolution.
- Assist in reviewing and consolidating demand from Product Lines and operational centres.
- Participate in sourcing and procurement processes, including exposure to contract implementation and negotiation practices.
- Assist warehouse operations in receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking materials in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support inventory management activities, including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and maintaining data accuracy in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Help monitor stock levels and contribute to initiatives to reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.
- Assist with documentation, labelling, and compliance with company standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing waste in time, cost, and resources across supply chain and warehouse operations.
- Support internal material transfers and coordination between warehouse, procurement, and field operations teams.
- Ensure all activities comply with SLB policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
Experiences & Exposures
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates or students seeking practical industry exposure are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and apply new concepts to real operational challenges.
- Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced environment, showing strong adaptability and learning agility.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and functions.
- Proficiency in English, with solid written, verbal, and reading abilities.
