JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS LLP) is currently looking for Telecom Senior Engineer - Expression of Interest (KZ passport holders) to join our team in Atyrau, Kazakhstan

RESPONSIBILITIES

• provide all required input for the FEED cost estimate to support Company FID;
• develop engineering and a design to facilitate the procurement of Long Lead equipment and material to support the overall construction Schedule;
• develop a safe and operable design that facilitate efficient construction
• ensure that Everybody working on the project will end each day Incident and Injury Free;
• coordination, meetings, planning/control & reporting;
• interdisciplinary Interfaces;
• SPI Database (Telecom Scope) ;
• production of FEED level Deliverables listed below;
• cable Routing Diagrams;
• cable Schedules;
• cable Block Diagrams;
• cable Termination Drawings Not considered as part of FEED Scope;
• telecom Equipment Layout Diagrams;
• enquiry Requisition Packages (including Supplier Data Requirements, QA/QC, etc);
• telecom Basis of Design;
• telecom Equipment List

QUALIFICATIONS

• higher (technical) education;
• work experience in the respective position no less than 5 year
• proficient user of relevant software and calculation templates;
• professional level of ability in the application of standards, processes and procedures and how they are used in work execution;
• professional level of knowledge of applicable codes and standards;
• technically competent in own discipline, pursues continuous professional development of skills and knowledge according to standards
