This is not a full-time position. The role will be on a part-time / flexible project support basis, depending on project requirements, supplier inspection schedules, document review workload, and urgent quality-related matters.

The position is suitable for experienced professionals who may be available to support on a flexible or part-time arrangement, especially those with strong experience in supplier quality coordination, inspection planning, third-party inspection management, fabrication quality control, and offshore / oil & gas project requirements.

Position: Supplier Quality Coordinator
Contract Duration: 3 months
Work Arrangement: Part-time / flexible project-based assignment ( Preferable Singapore and immediate available candidates)
Industry: FPSO / Offshore / Marine / EPC / Oil & Gas

The Supplier Quality Coordinator will be responsible for supporting procurement quality and supplier surveillance activities across project packages. The role will involve reviewing supplier quality documentation, coordinating inspections, managing technical clarifications, supporting criticality assessments, and ensuring that supplier deliverables comply with project, purchase order, class, and international quality requirements.

Key responsibilities include reviewing RFQs, bid quality documents, equipment specifications, inspection and test plans, supplier documentation, inspection reports, NCRs, IRCs, and Manufacturer’s Record Books. The role will also involve coordinating with Package Engineers, EPC contractors, third-party inspectors, and suppliers to ensure inspection activities, FAT, SAT, surveillance visits, audits, and final acceptance activities are properly planned, executed, reported, and closed out.

The successful candidate should have strong hands-on experience in supplier quality, fabrication quality control, welding, machining, coating, assembly, material traceability, dimensional inspections, and inspection documentation management. Experience with offshore, marine, FPSO, EPC, or oil & gas project environments will be highly preferred.

Candidates from related FPSO / offshore project backgrounds such as Supplier Quality Engineer, Vendor Quality Engineer, Project Quality Engineer, QA/QC Engineer, Inspection Coordinator, Quality Surveillance Coordinator, TPI Coordinator, Welding Inspector, Fabrication Quality Engineer, Package Quality Engineer, or Procurement Quality Engineer will be highly suitable for this role.

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 10 years of relevant experience, or Diploma with at least 15 years of relevant experience
  • Extensive supplier quality, project quality, inspection coordination, or quality surveillance experience
  • Strong knowledge of inspection and test plans, supplier surveillance planning, and 4-week lookahead inspection schedules
  • Experience coordinating and witnessing inspections, FAT, SAT, supplier audits, and third-party inspections
  • Practical understanding of fabrication processes including welding, cutting, fit-up, coating, machining, assembly, and quality control requirements
  • Strong knowledge of material traceability, dimensional inspection, fabrication records, and quality documentation
  • Experience reviewing and approving supplier quality documents, inspection reports, NCRs, IRCs, and MRBs
  • Familiarity with class, regulatory, and international project quality requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ASME, API, and AWS standards
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred
  • CSWIP 3.2 or International Welding Engineer certification will be highly advantageous
  • Strong English communication, reporting, stakeholder management, and coordination skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, multicultural project environment
  • Flexible and willing to support supplier inspections or urgent project requirements when required
