JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS LLP) is currently looking for Network Engineer - Expression of Interest (KZ passport holders) to join our team in Atyrau, Kazakhstan

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supports the WoodKSS business in Kazakhstan to deliver IT Services with support of Wood IT.
• Establishes and maintains information technology policies, procedures and standards that are adhered too by the business.
• Manages all aspects of hardware and software inventory and procurement, including audits to ensure hardware and software comply with standards, policies and configuration guidelines, hardware and software maintenance.
• Ensures IT hardware and software is up to date, modern and fit for purpose. Manages all aspects of hardware and software upgrades and local hardware disposals for outdated hardware and equipment.
• Manages printing services providers and ensures the continuity of printing services for all offices in Kazakhstan.
• Monitors information technology infrastructure and related system operations and assesses potential risks
• Implements Business Continuity Plan or Service Resumption Plan for the region.
• Ensures regular conversations happen between Senior Stakeholders, IT Function and IT Leadership
• Support the local business with IT demand and planning of IT Hardware Purchases.
• May assist staff with diagnosing and solving computer equipment problems
• Supports the local business with bids and ITT's in relation to IT component.
• Promotes IT Awareness initiatives and IT Security Protocols.
• Holds ownership and manages delivery of IT inductions to new personnel and refreshers for existing employees. Provides regular updates to the organisation locally on changes in Wood IT policies, procedures and processes to ensure IT services continuity.

QUALIFICATIONS

• higher (technical) education;
• work experience in the respective position no less than 7 year
