PROJECT SURVEYOR (H/F)

What organization will you be joining as a Project Surveyor?

We are currently looking for a Project Surveyor on behalf of our client, a leading company operating in the offshore and EPCI sector.

Location: La Défense (Paris) + Offshore
Start Date: ASAP

What will be your responsibilities?

Working within a multi-project offshore environment, you will support the Installation and Operations teams on survey and positioning activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the technical specialist for survey and positioning activities;
• Supporting Installation Engineering teams in the preparation of procedures related to in-house survey services;
• Preparing technical specifications and requisitions for subcontracted survey scopes;
• Assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of offshore operations;
• Managing interfaces with project teams, operations personnel, subcontractors, and clients;
• Ensuring compliance with technical, contractual, and HSE requirements;
• Participating in technical reviews and lessons learned activities to support continuous improvement.

What profile and skills are required for this Project Surveyor position?

• Degree in Surveying, Hydrography, Geomatics, Offshore Engineering, or a related discipline;
• Minimum 15-20 years of experience in offshore survey, subsea operations, or EPCI projects;
• Strong expertise in offshore positioning and navigation systems, including:
• Solid understanding of offshore installation activities and associated operational constraints;
• Proven experience working in complex multi-project and international environments;
• Fluent English, both written and spoken;
• Strong communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams;
• Autonomous, organized, and solution-oriented mindset.

Requirements

• Valid BOSIET certification;
• Valid Offshore Medical Fitness Certificate;
• Willingness and ability to travel offshore when required;
• International mobility is an advantage.

Location & Mobility

• Position based in La Défense (Paris) with regular office attendance required;
• Remote and international candidates may be considered provided relocation is not required;
• Hybrid working arrangement possible, with regular visits to Paris (a few days per month);
• Offshore and international travel may be required depending on project needs.

• Long-term renewable contract;
• Competitive remuneration based on experience and qualifications €50k-€70k depending on experience.
