Engineer
Short Description
We are looking for an experienced Immersion Engineer to support offshore tunnel installation projects. In this role, you will perform stability and ballast calculations, contribute to preparation and execution phases, and provide technical guidance during offshore transport and immersion operations.
Function Description
As an Immersion Engineer, you will play a key role in both the preparation and execution of offshore tunnel element installations. Your responsibilities cover engineering calculations, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and active involvement in offshore operations.
During the preparatory phase, you will develop ballast plans and perform float-up and stability calculations. You will coordinate with design and work preparation teams, ensuring alignment across departments and contributing to interface management. You will also ensure that design outputs are accurately translated into operational documents such as method statements, drawings, and manuals. In addition, you will be involved in Tunnel Control Systems and collaborate with external stakeholders such as the Marine Warranty Surveyor, contributing to operational procedures and Go/No-Go criteria.
During execution, you will take an active offshore role, supporting transport and immersion activities from the command unit. You will monitor operations to ensure they remain within defined limits, provide technical advice to the operational lead, and respond to any contingencies. Following immersion operations, you will review data and contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned.
This role involves working in an international environment and includes offshore assignments, with deployment in Denmark on a full-time or rotational basis.
Requirements
If you are a driven engineer with a passion for complex offshore operations and want to contribute to the successful delivery of large-scale marine infrastructure projects, we would love to hear from you. Join a dynamic, international team where your expertise will make a real impact.
