JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS LLP) is currently looking for SmartPlant Admin - Expression of Interest (KZ passport holders) to join our team in Atyrau, Kazakhstan

RESPONSIBILITIES

• provide design and technical support for the layout, design and specification of electrical/CSA/Mechanical/Piping systems and related infrastructure;
• designing and drafting of equipment systems in SP3D including integration with SPI and SPEL;
• designing according to safety codes and design criteria;
• reviewing project documents including flowsheets and P&IDs for scope, presentation and technical accuracy prior to issue;
• update of G. A's regularly with latest vendor data and drawing information;
• adherence to project man-hour budgets;
• induction and supervision of designers in the use of Wood standards and procedures;
• supervision of designers to ensure project design requirements are followed;
• inter-discipline drawing checking;
• coordination of drawing packages;
• timely transfer of information to other disciplines;
• support other disciplines / division;
• project drawing register - Update as per procedures;
• ensure the progress of 3D model to agreed schedule and within budget;
• production of drawing packages completed on time and within agreed budget;
• process vendor data within agreed timeframes;
• monitor errors/rectification reports from site and seek feedback from fabricators and construction personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS

• higher (technical) education;
• work experience in the respective position no less than 5 year
